We’re excited to be Iowa’s newest Medicaid health plan—created by your neighbors who live here, too.

Molina brings over 40 years of Medicaid experience and expertise in supporting members with complex needs such as behavioral health and Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS). Molina provides access to expert care from quality doctors, along with extra benefits and dedicated member services to help you feel your best.

On a Molina Medicaid health plan, members get core Medicaid benefits like doctor visits, maternity care, and prescriptions — all at no cost. But Molina gives you even more ways to stay healthy and save money.

Below is a quick overview of the extra benefits we’ll offer to make 2023 your healthiest year yet.

First, we’d like to welcome you as a member! You are now part of something big and we’re happy you’re here. Next, you don’t have to anything to start enjoying better care and quality health coverage. You should have your welcome kit, ID card and member materials. We invite you download the My Molina app and consent to text messages for immediate access to your health plan and to follow us on social media for updates and important health information.

Molina is a national health care company that’s focused exclusively on government-sponsored programs for over 40 years. Molina now serves approximately 5.2 million members through locally-operated health plans like Molina Healthcare of Iowa.

As a Molina member, how will my plan or benefits change?

Your Medicaid benefits will now be managed by Molina. You will still get the same standard Medicaid benefits but will now have access to all the value-added extras listed below!

How can I change my doctor?

Changing your doctor is easy! You can change your doctor on the My Molina app or by calling us at (844) 236-0894, TTY 711. We're here to help!
